Antique maps are great fun to collect. If you wish you have a theme to your collecting such as buying maps of your home county or if you have moved about a bit then the counties you have lived in over the years. Or you can just buy the maps that you find exciting just because of perhaps their decoration or their historical interest.
If you would like to receive an occasional email Newsletter with details about new maps and prints that have been added to stock please fill in the form below and click submit.

I started selling antique maps when I was working as an auctioneer at Browns of Chester, Foregate Street, Chester. Burton Tailoring bought Browns and soon afterwards I got a golden handshake of £150 and left. My father helped me greatly to get my business going in Shotton, Flintshire. It started as a postal catalogue business but in the late 1960's I and my father opened up a gallery at 25, Watergate Street, Chester. A lot of shops came and went in the 30 years I was there including Sotheby's who opened on the other side of the road. Since 1998 the business has been on the internet at www.antiquemaps.com
