The northern part of the border region between modern Germany and Poland, including Brandenburg, the northern part of Saxony Anhalt, the eastern part of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, and the modern Polish voivodeships of zachodniopomorskie (West Pomerania) and pomorskie (Pomerania) Decorative pictorial cartouche dated 1780. 15 3/4 x 12 1/4 inches. Original hand colouring. Centre fold as published. Superb clean condition. Straight from the atlas and not sold previously as a single map.

A NEW & ACCURATE MAP OF THE KINGDOM OF PRUSSIA AND POLISH PRUSSIA FROM THE SIEUR ROBERT’S ATLAS WITH IMPROVEMENTS A map bearing the name of the engraver J. Gibson. Decorative rococo title cartouche. Hand coloured. Smallish bottom blank margin. Some text offsetting from the page opposite in the atlas for over 200 years. Good condition.

TOTIUS FLUMINIS RHENI NOVISSIMA DESCRIPTIO.... A fine engraved map of the course of the River Rhine shown in two sections, one above the other, on one sheet. The upper section bears the uncoloured title cartouche with figures whilst the uncoloured title cartouche appears on the lower section. 20.5 x 18.5 inches, 520 x 470 mm. Original outline and wash hand colouring. Good condition.

TERRITORIUM ARGENTORATENSE A 17th century engraved map centred on Strasbourg with the surrounding regions. The title and scale are displayed within a decorative cartouche with four figures in contemporary costume. Two coats of arms in the top right corner. 19 1/4 x 15 inches. A few small old ink marks, otherwise good condition. Early hand colouring.

Decorative vine title cartouche dated 1689. A second title is shown in a panel stretching right across the top of the map. 22 x 17 1/4 inches. Hand coloured. Good condition.

Nova et Accurata MOGUNTINI Archiepiscopatus delineatio. An engraved map orientated with east at the top. It extends from Paderborn in the north to Heidelberg in the south with Koblenz and Mainz. Decorative title cartouche. Coat of arms. 20 x 16 inches, 510 x 410 mm. Uncoloured. Small Chethams Library stamp. Lightly tones with a few scattered fox marks in the wide blank borders, otherwise good condition.

An engraved map which includes the Rhine from Bonn to south of Maynece with Frankfurt and Hanau. To the west the Moselle from Coblenz to Trier. The title appears right across the top of the map. 33 x 16.5 inches, 850 x 420 mm. Original outline and wash colouring. Good condition.

LE CERCLE ESLECTORAL DU RHEIN SUBDIVISE EN TOUTS LES ESTATS QUI LE COMPOSENT.... A fine engraved map which includes the Rhine from Emmerich in the north to south of Strasbourg. Includes Frankfurt and Wertheim. The title it displayed within a decorative uncoloured cartouche bearing the names of Sanson and Jaillot and is dated 1690. A second uncoloured cartouche displays the five scales. 18 x 25 inches. Original outline hand colouring. Good clean condition with good blank margins all round.
