An engraved map including the Netherlands, Germany with parts of Poland, Austria and Switzerland. 19 3/4 x 18 inches plus the engraved tables down the left and right hand sides of the map. Split at where two folds meet as this map which is number 23 from volume of 2 of Atlas Historique appears folded in the book. Otherwise good clean condition. Straight from the atlas and not sold previously as a single map.

A miniature engraved map of the country. Simple cartouche with title and scale. 4 3/4 x 3 1/4 inches. Uncoloured. Part of a description of Germany on verso in English. Good condition.

SOUTHERN GERMANY

A coloured lithograph map showing Southern Germany with Bavaria, Wurtemberg, Baden, Nassau, Darmstadt and Coburg. Above and below the central map are four smaller town plans of Nuremberg, Munich, Mayence and Frankfurt plus an oval map of th State of Frankfurt. In all some 11 3/4 x 1 7 inches. A little discolouration down the edge of the left hand blank margin and in the top left hand blank margin otherwise good clean undamaged condition.

An engraved map extending from Dresden in the north to the Gulf of Venice in the south. Decorative rococo title cartouche. Scale. 16 1/2 x 13 1/2 inches. Uncoloured. Small top blank margin, no blank margins on the two sides. Good bottom blank margin. Uncoloured. Traces of horizontal and vertical fold creases. Original centre fold. Clean condition.

An engraved map including the Netherlands and showing the Rhine as far south as Mayence. Large pictorial cartouche showing fishermen at work and displaying the title and dedication dated 1690. 24 x 17 3/4 inches. Hand coloured. Small repair to the bottom left hand blank margin otherwise good clean crisp condition.

An engraved map of the whole country on two sheets. Each map measures 22 1/2 x 14 1/4 inches. Original outline and wash hand colouring. Minor splits at the bottom of the centre fold to each map. Otherwise good condition.

DIE STATT SEDENUM

A fine woodcut bird’s eye view plan of the town. 14 x 10 1/4 inches . Uncoloured. Two holes in the bottom right and left hand corners of the blank border repaired. Some very slight worm holes in the blank margins by the top and bottom of the centre fold.

Original outline and wash hand colouring. 13 3/4 x 17 3/5 inches. Small splits at the two ends of the centre fold. A few brown marks in centre fold, otherwise good condition.

An interesting engraved map of the whole of Germany Based on a map by Abraham Ortelius which appeared in his Parergon in 1597. Decorative title cartouche with two warlike figures. Second cartouche with putti. Compass rose, ship and sea monster in the sea area. 19 x 15 inches. Uncoloured. Original centre fold. Dutch text on verso. Small slit at the bottom of the centre fold otherwise good clean undamaged condition. This map has come straight from the atlas and been sold previously as a single map.

A large engraved map extending from Denmark and southern Sweden in the north to the Gulf of Venice in the south with Paris in the west nd Poland and part of Russia in the east. Panel with a list of the Confederated States. The map is set within a patterned border. As the map was so large for the atlas the upper 5 inches of the map is attahed by a strip of linen, as published. Original centre fold. 29 3/4 x 25 inches. A few small nicks on the edges of borders in top and bottom blank margins otherwise good clean condition. Stout paper.
