Early wash hand colouring. Fine condition having been taken from the atlas and therefore not previously sold as a single map.

An interesting engraved map of this decisive battle of the Great Northern War on 8th July 1709 which marked the begining of Russian influence in Northern Europe. Two insets showing a map detail and the title. 13 x 9 inches. Hand coloured. Remains of a piece of tape on verso along part of the top whre the map has been in a sunk mount. Good condition
