Flourished 1750 - 1804
Sorry no individual county maps of the British Isles by this 18th century Italian cartopher but I felt I had to include his name in this guide as there are interesting maps of groupls of counties.
Antonio Zatta was and publisher and printer working in Venice, Amongst the atlases he published he is perhaps best known for his Atlante novissio... which was published in four volumes from 1775 to 1785. I have decided in the case of this mapmaker to include a selction of his maps of other parts of the world. As you will see there is a very definite design which repeats in each map so I trust will help you to identify any specimens of British Isles maps from the series.
