A circular celestial map of the Southern Hemisphere with the figures of the constellations. At each of the four corners is an engraving of an Italian observatory, Pisa, Bologna, Padova and Milan. 16 x 12 inches. Original hand colouring. Small tear in the bottom blank margin which just extends 3mm into the engraved area, repaired, otherwise good condition.
