MR. MEAD AS HOTSPUR. An early hand coloured engraving of the actor playing the part in William Shakespeare's plat King Henry IV Part 1. 6 1/2 x 8 inches. Attached just across the top to a much more modern patterned paper. Two inch tear in the top left hand blank area otherwise good condition with with rich 19th century hand colouring.
Mr. Mead was an actor who played many roles but was also manager of the Elephant and Castle Theatre in London
