A fine detailed map of the county embellished with a delightful pictorial cartouche and an engraving of Lichfield Cathedral. Around the map are engraved historical and descriptive notes as well as a list of the Earls and Lords of Stafford. A publishers imprint appears beneath the map with the date of 1777. 16 x 20 inches. Fine condition. Scarce.

A small uncoloured engraved map of the county surrounded by a wide pictorial border featuring Lichfield Cathedral, Furnace, Potteries and Copper Mine. 6 x 7 inches. Original hand colouring to the surrounding scenes. No blank margin on the right hand side. A little light foxing.
