The first printed map of Shropshire engraved by Remigius Hogenberg. Decorative title cartouche surmounted by the royal arms. Arms of Thomas Seckford. Scale with pair of dividers and banner displaying the name of Christopher Saxton. 19 3/4 x 15 1/4 inches. FULL ORIGINAL HAND COLOURING. A very nice specimen of this scarce map with good margins.
