Slight vertical crease on the left hand side otherwise good condition.

An interesting untitled chart orientated with west at the top. The east coast of England is shown from Berwick to just west of Rye in Sussex. Arms of England. Continental coast from Holland to Calais. Decorative dedication cartouche with figures. Compass rose and rhumb lines. 21 x 17 inches, 550 x 440 mm. Fine hand colouring. Some light toning. Nice heavy paper. No tears or repairs.

The land shapes include Portland, Dartmouth, Plymouth, Foy, Cape Cornwall and Lundy Island. 22 x 17 inches. Uncoloured. Slight water stain in the top right hand region. Otherwise good condition.

A NEW MAP OF THE KINGDOM OF ENGLAND & DOMINION OF WALES ACTUALLY MEASURED & DELINEATED BY JOHN OGILBY ESQR. HIS MA.TIES COSMOGRPHER. The lovely fascinating map of England and Wales that appears I think only in the early edition of the Britannia. Showing the routes that the 100 strip road maps in the atlas follow. A large decorative cartouche displays a Catalogue of Roads and beneath the title. Royal Arms, cartouche with three scales. Ships on the sea and two sea monsters. The paper of this map is in fine condition and thicker than some other specimens of this map I have had in the past. The imperfections are just small as there is little to no blank margin on the right hand side and trimming to the printed margin on the right hand side. Uncoloured.

The dedication to Sir John Ashby, Admiral of the Blew is displayed on a large shell held by sea people. 22 x 17 inches. Uncoloured. Good condition.

An untitled chart orientated with west the at the top. Includes the coast of Ireland from Belfast to Cork and the coastline of England and Wales from the Mull of Galloway to the Lizard in Cornwall. Embellished with a cartouche bearing a dedication to Sir Richard Rooth, Knt.Late Governor of their Mahies Fort Castl-ny-Park near Kinsale. 22 3/4 x 18 inches. Uncoloured. Lightly toned but good condition with no tears or repairs.

Very light soiling in the outer edge of the left hand blank margin otherwise good clean undamaged condition. Uncoloured. A description in English appears on verso and with the map are the further five pages of double sided text.
Straight from the atlas and not previously sold as a single map. The title page of the atlas is dated 1627
